Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

1. Overview

Polymint does not collect traditional personal data. We do not require accounts, emails, passwords, or any form of registration. There are no cookies or third-party tracking scripts on this website. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics as described in Section 3.

2. Blockchain Data

When you interact with the Polymint smart contract, your transactions are recorded on the Polygon blockchain, which is public and immutable. Our backend indexes on-chain events and stores the following data in its database:

  • Wallet addresses: The wallet address of NFT owners and optional proxy wallet addresses, as recorded by the smart contract.
  • Transfer history: Source and destination wallet addresses from NFT transfer events.
  • Transaction metadata: Transaction hashes, block numbers, and event data from on-chain interactions.

All of this data is already publicly available on the Polygon blockchain. We do not collect any information beyond what is recorded on-chain.

3. Anonymous Usage Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool, to collect anonymous, aggregate usage data. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No consent banner is required.

The following aggregate metrics are collected:

  • Page URLs and referrer sources
  • Browser and operating system (general type only)
  • Country-level location (derived from IP, which is never stored)

Polymint does not collect, store, or process any of the following:

  • Names, emails, or contact information
  • IP addresses or geolocation data beyond country level
  • Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
  • Cookies or local storage for tracking
  • Individual behavioral data or user sessions

4. Error Monitoring

We use Sentry to monitor and fix crashes in the frontend application. When an error occurs, the following technical data may be sent to Sentry:

  • Error messages and stack traces
  • Browser type, version, and operating system
  • Page URL where the error occurred
  • An anonymous session replay of the actions leading to the error

This data is used solely for debugging and improving application stability. No wallet addresses, transaction data, or personal information is intentionally collected through error reports. You can review Sentry's privacy practices at sentry.io/privacy.

5. Third-Party Services

When you connect your wallet, the wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) may collect data according to its own privacy policy. We also use Plausible Analytics (hosted in the EU) to process anonymous page-view data. You can review their privacy practices at plausible.io/data-policy. Polymint has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the privacy practices of wallet providers, Sentry, or the Polygon network.

6. Generated Imagery

NFT artwork is generated using third-party AI services (image generation and language models). Prompts sent to these services are derived from public prediction market data and do not contain any user personal information.

7. Data Retention

On-chain data indexed by our backend is retained indefinitely, as it mirrors the public blockchain record. Generated images and associated metadata are stored for as long as the corresponding NFTs exist.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Polymint after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
